Terry has it right, but unfortunately God has to clean up my heart still on many occasions. I wish I could keep my heart clean and pure myself, but myself keeps getting in the way. Because I try to keep it clean, many people mistake my efforts for success. Not so! I am pure of heart only when I allow the Blood of Christ to wash me clean. Keep reminding us that He, and He alone, can wash us clean.
